Final project presentation

Full time and Part time class student will be in same time for final presentation.

30th Aug.( Monday) afternoon 3pm. in lab.
Presentation will be 10% of your mark.

In presentation day please copy your final project in a flash pen drive, and put all your works in a CD. make sure, put the assignments and project in different folder, and name the folder. Please don't forget make a cover for your CD which include your name, student ID and class code.

Lecture change infor

To Full time students:
Class Video Production D166 is canceled this Thursday. The class next Monday will move to lab and replace for the thursday class.
Please bring your assignment on Monday.

Final project CD cover

Please submit the final project CD with printed cover.
Before i was metioned in class, Final project must have printed cover.
If anyone submit CD without printed cover, please submit the cover to me before Thursday. If do not submit, I will minus 5 marks!

Final project and presentation

Final project submit in CD with AVI format and the original AfterEffect file and Premiere file.
You can add Effect in AfterEffect first and export as Premiere file, and add audio in Premiere.

Presentation is 11th May, 12:00 pm.(same as class time) in T – 6 (lab), please ware formal.
Submit final project CD and proposal after presentation.

About your final project

Draw your story board in the story board form. (Either American style or Japanese style. The form can be downloaded from Google group notes.)

Draw by pencil, no color request.

Focus on special effects and good ideas.

MTV depend on the music, at least 1.5 minutes. Advertisement can be 30 seconds to 1 minutes, but higher request in effect and idea than MTV.

Show me your idea and story board next week.

Assignment 3

Add special effect on film

- You can use the film which you did in Assignment 2. You also can create a new video for special effect.

- Use special effect as much as possible. You can composite with graphics or animations. If it is able to get green screen, can try to composite different shot.

- 2 minutes around, save as “avi” format.

- Individual assignment.

ASSESSMENT 1 and 2

1. Storyboard

Find a video (film or animation), select a part of the video above 1.5 minutes.

Capture pictures from the video, and arrange them as storyboard.

Need describe the action for the captured scenes.

Print in A4 paper to submit.

2. Shoot a short film

Use different type of Camera Shot and Camera movement, with good lighting.

Short and interesting story with creative directing.

Edit by Premiere, no special effect request.

2 minutes around, save as “avi” format.
